The Holy Grail of Motorcycles

This tour is geared to independent types. People who like to ride alone or with a couple of friends. People who love to consult maps, to plan out their route, to come across the unexpected and are resourceful. The principle is very simple: Each night, your guide gives you the road book and the maps you will need to trace the route for the following day. It’s up to you to study your route.

In the early morning, your guide will be by the truck to answer all your questions and make any necessary arrangements with you. You’ll give him your luggage. If you stick to the route that he recommended, there’s a good chance that you’ll see each other several times during the day, perhaps at a petrol station or a restaurant, but it’s also possible that you won’t see him again until evening when you go to the stopping point to pick up your bags. It will be up to you to plan your days and to schedule stops for petrol and for meals.

True to the West Forever tradition, your guide will be much more than a baggage porter. He’ll be at your disposal, not only to tell you about a region that he knows well, but also to look after the technical maintenance of your motorcycle. In case there’s a problem during the day, all you have to do is wait for him to pass by on the side of the route or ring him on his mobile phone if you have taken the liberty of straying from the recommended route. He will do his utmost to help you and to ensure that you have a marvellous holiday on the roads of the Wild West.

You’ll be staying in motels. The rooms will always be clean and comfortable, but never very luxurious. With the exception of the week at Sturgis when you will meet thousands of bikers, you will cross regions where you will come across infinite spaces. City people, prepare yourselves for a great solitude treatment. My but the world is big and beautiful!

In the world, there are two places a biker has to go once during his lifetime: Daytona Beach and Sturgis. Daytona is the place for those who love beautiful bikes, but also the place for excellence expressed in the American extreme, with chrome and silicone!! Sturgis is different: it's the "biker way of life"; it's almost a cult place... Of course, there's also all the showmen, all the "bike show", all the elections for Miss So-and-So.But Sturgis is above all else a party atmosphere, a place to meet.
On the American scale.GIGANTIC!

We'll pick up our bikes in Denver on August 2nd and take to the road. Through the Rocky Mountains, we will head north toward South Dakota to take our quarters in Deadwood, a small town 21 kilometres from Sturgis. From there we can spread out through all of South Dakota. The Black Hills, Mount Rushmore (heads of the American presidents), Devil's Tower.It's there. Of course, it will be the ideal place for day trips to Sturgis throughout Bike Week. On the way back, we'll head toward Wyoming (Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton, Dinosaur National Park, etc. and then Montana to be back in Denver after 15 full days of riding on a Harley-Davidson®.
