The Highlights, The Scenery & The Grandeur

You start in Washington, the Capitol City & ride to New York 'The Big Apple' where you will have time for sightseeing, Statue of Liberty, Empire State building, Little Italy, Chinatown & the Bohemian Greenwich Village - then at night, maybe take in a show on or off Broadway.

You follow the East coast South, to Richmond-Virginia, the seaside town of Wilmington - North Carolina, then on to Savannah - Georgia, the true Southern Capital. There you will have time to sample the food, the history and the 'old world' charm and atmosphere seen in movies like 'Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil' and of course 'Gone with the Wind'.

A long day ahead of you, require an early start, but you will arrive in Orlando - Florida, where you have Disney/MGM, Seaworld and a short ride away, Cape Canaveral Space Centre.

Miami, the famous seaside city and retirement spot for the well-to-do, is now at your feet and you will enjoy the ride to Key West via the 'Overseas Highway' a series of bridges hopping from island to island, the 'Seven Mile Bridge' being the most well known (10.9km) - a Spectacular bike ride, worthy of ending a 13 day tour of the great Eastern USA.
