Today we pick up our bikes and then were off to Palm Springs, a true oasis, is at the border of the desert.

There you will find a whole host of restaurants, stylish designers and art galleries.

Joshua Tree National park; Joshua trees, some of them 1,000 years old, grow between grey and pink rock formations.

Cross the Mojave Desert and a short stop for a drink at Roy's café which has inspired several Hollywood films.

We are now on the legendary Route 66! Next we cross the Colorado River and arrive in Arizona

We pass through the Oatman town of gold diggers on the historic Route 66 before we discover one of the 7 wonders of the world: The Grand Canyon

We ride across the Indian territory of the Navajo.

Perched 250m above the Colorado River, the Navajo bridge opened the West to Utah and the town of Kanab, which has been nicknamed "little Hollywood" as hundreds of movies have been filmed here.

The winding road taking us to Bryce Canyon will guarantee breathtaking scenery with a skilful mixture of red and orange colours.

You may go down the canyon to obtain a closer look at the "Hoodoos", massive monoliths of yellow limestone.

After crossing Zion Park, at the end of the Valley of Fire, the 2 million neon lights of Freemont Street, the Venetian Gondolas, the MGM lion, and the Eiffel Tower…

We are in Las Vegas!

Try your luck in the Las Vegas casinos before the grand departure for Death Valley, where spectacular, lunar landscapes, burnt by the sun, await you.

After leaving the desert behind, the contrast is startling. Mammoth is a city which is famous for ski fields and numerous scenic lakes.

Now we venture to Bodie, a ghost town preserved in all her authenticity since 1889.

Journey over Sonora Pass which has an altitude of 3,000 metres in the remoteness and beauty of Yosemite National Park

Cross the Golden Gate Bridge on a Harley-Davidson®, a magical moment!

Ride your motorbike through the streets of San Francisco, an unforgettable experience.

We suggest dinner at Fisherman's Wharf Pier 39.

The Pacific Coast Highway: a maze of winding roads surrounded by the blue of the ocean and the green of the Californian hills.

Stunning! We spend the night in an ancient Poste Office, the Union Hotel which is now a historic monument.

We arrive back in L.A by the scenic coast road, visiting Santa Barbara and the 200 year old Mission.

After lunch at Malibu we return the bikes.
